I think he SHOULD be able to have his children. Disabilities shouldn't stop a parent from raising their children! As long as he gives them the love and attention they need and deserve, a blind father is just as good as one who can see!

I believe that survival is an instinct, you either have it or you don't. No amount of training or preparatory thinking can make you react in any other way than that of your survival instincts, however I do believe you can condition what you already have.

Smart people are not those who know a lot, but those who can use their knowledge. Being a survivor is the same. If you can estimate quickly the situation, your advantages and disadvantages and react properly-then you'll survive. Strength is not always a recipe for success.

Surviving implies adapting yourself to tough conditions, also a good reaction to them and an adequate behaviour too.That's why whining people, complaining about all, will NEVER be survivors. Besides, our world and our life is just a mirror reflecting our thoughts... and even feelings: once we say it is bad and complicated, it will be like this for sure. And viceversa. Once we think we can't handle it, we won't and once we think we'll survive something, there will be nothing standing in our way. Believing is enough.
