it only won because they had better support ten hd-dvd i thick hd-dvd should have one thick at how low the players would have cost compared to ble-ray and they were making a 45gig disc to until thy pulled the plug i fucking hate sony i hate them to god

It's obvious why HD-DVD lost i mean "HD-DVD," what a mouthful!

I think we can all agree that if it was mearly "HDVD," or "High Definition Video Disk," it would have done much better in the marketplace.

After all "Blu-Ray" is just so much easier to say than "HD-DVD."

"HDVD" rolls of the tounge much nicer.

What a stupid study. Studios didn't use dual-layered discs in DVD's infancy. Meaningless numbers have to be given a spin because nobody gives a crap about Blu-ray.
