President candidate's son caught with a gun


David Huckabee, a son of presidential candidate, the former Arkansas governor and Republican party activist Mike Huckabee was arrested in Arkansas airport after it was disclosed he had a loaded handgun in his carry-on.

It should be mentioned that just a week ago, his father claimed that it was possible to prevent the Virginia tragedy and the gunman Cho Seung-Hui would not commit the crime if other students or teachers had a weapon.

David Huckabee was pleaded guilty for wearing a weapon in the prohibited place. It is known that he and his father have a permission to posses a concealment holster weapon.

David had 40 caliber Glock pistol in his bag, Little Rock officer Arthur Nugent said. The gun had eight-round clip, although there was no cartridge in the chamber, and there were additional nine-round clip in his carry-on.

Presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee said that he considered his son's act irresponsible but not ill-intentioned.

The representative of Transportation Security department said that David Huckabee cooperated with Security Service officers and other passengers were not in danger.

Huckabee was sentenced for one year on probation, 10 days of community service and have to pay $855 total costs.
