Scientists Develop New Birth Control Gel for Women

The widely-used contraceptive pill may soon be replaced by the new body gel that is just as effective as the most common birth control method.

The new gel should be used on a daily basis and is rubbed into the skin. The initial trials showed fewer side effects that often are common for the Pill users.

The gel contains sex hormones that enter the blood stream and work similar to the Pill.
