the only disadvantage of the death penalty is that no one can reverse it once miscarriage of justice is identified. even if the culprit deserves to be killed or even more, there should be room for correcting mistakes judges and jurors can make.

I could never set on a jury and give out the death penalty because of my personal believes.With that said if the State of Texas can give a person the dealth penalty for murder then the crime of rape of a child is just a serious crime if not more so. Some victims survive and live a well adjusted life and others never recover and continue the cycle of abuse.

How can he say what they did to him was unjust, when he took another person's life? Also, how can people say that it was wrong to execute him, even though he took another person's life, when women are killing innocient babies everyday! Now that is messed up.

you know, many kids do feel there is a good side in drunk driving? Its exciting, its fun, of course its wrong, but kids don't always care about that now do they. Haley's just saying it presents drunk driving in a realistic way in which people, teenagers mostly, can learn from. Don't be a wise crack bout it cuz Haley's got a pretty valid point
