Share

UK's biggest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust, looks forward to erecting the world's greenest center called Rehoming Center.

The structure will be located in Leicestershire and designers claim that it will considerably cut running costs reduce carbon footprint.

It would be interesting to note that the center will include a biomass boiler, green roofs, under-floor heating, solar panels and even a rainwater recycling system.

Inside there will be enough space for 135 dogs. The center will feature 64 rehoming, intake and puppy kennels. All of the kennels will be angled and will have a glass front.

It has been estimated that all renewable energy systems will be able to reduce power consumption by at least 30 percent, reports Melton Times.
