Honda Air - Eco-Friendly Vehicle Powered by Compressed Air

The new Air Concept vehicle, presented by Honda at the 2010 LA Auto Show's Design Challenge competition represents a compressed air-powered car.

The light vehicle weights just 1,000lbs but is able to carry up to 4 people.

Designers that worked on Honda Air were inspired by roller coasters and skydiving wing-suits.

It is worth mentioning that the body panels and fairings of the compressed air car are made of vegetable-based polymers, which considerably reduce the weight of Honda Air.
