Latest Invention: Eco-Billboard Powered by Oranges

It took 3 months for inventors to build a billboard composed of hundreds of oranges. Initially they had to make up a grid composed of thousands of copper and zinc spikes. The spikes were used to maintain the oranges in vertical position.
At the same time the spikes can be used to create energy. The billboard turns into a huge self-sustaining battery due to the fruits' acidic electrochemical reaction with copper and zinc.
It is worth mentioning that this project was initiated by a advertising agency called DDB. The billboard can work anywhere and worked without any electrical grid nearby.
Undoubtedly the advertisement had a great effect on the casual observers, mainly because it made use of an actual science experiment, reports Desingbuzz. The company's message was to show that oranges can give a lot of energy to humans, and the eco-billboard powered by oranges proves it.
