Morning Glory - Beautiful LED Flower that Blooms at Night

A young Dutch student came up with a very original and beautiful idea, she developed the Morning Glory, a solar-powered flower. Wendy Legro from the Design Academy of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, made Morning Glory for her graduate thesis.

She wanted to make people aware that in the contemporary world, people are no longer fascinated by the way plants and other things grow and change and wanted to focus their attention on the way a flower blooms.

The flower developed by Legro can be hung near a window. During the day, when it's sunny outside, the flower lamp shrinks up and at night it blooms, resembling a snowflake, showing its LEDs inside, informs Fast Company. It is worth mentioning that the Morning Glory was on display in Milan.
