New All-Electric Car Gets Efficiency Equivalent of 300 Miles Per Gallon

Several students from the DeLaSalle School in Kansas City together with a team of engineers at Bridgestone America's Technical Center in Akron managed to create an all-electric vehicle that gets an efficiency equivalent of 300mpg.

The team already tested its new electric car on Bridgestone's Texas Proving Grounds, with the vehicle featuring Bridgestone Ecopia EP100 tires.

It would be interesting to note that the car could be registered in the Guinness World Records. This is because the efficiency equivalent of 300mpg fuel consumption represents a new world record for efficiency.
