I had a similar experience to yours, James. Afterwards I too began doubting some of my thoughts, sensations, and reality. Since then I have caught myself wondering if the things or people I have been seeing are actually real. I also have had more anxiety since the trip, which was about six months ago. I have been working through it as well and feel better about it than I did before. I would be interested in hearing more about your trip/experiences. Shrooms are very powerful and must be treated with caution.

I took a mushroom trip recently, not my first, and it gave me a huge paradigm shift. I left behind a lot of self entitlement and gained a sort of another motivation in life. It was a really gainful life experience.

The thing is, that it was a bad trip. I mean, it sucked. I pissed all over my friend's couch and couldn't control my spiraling emotions because I thought I was dead. I couldn't recognize my friends around me or even believe they were real.

I lost a lot of confidence in my thought and sensory processing, and as a result I feel like I can't talk right - and I often slur my words now. I'm working on getting things back to normal.
