Some of these people are total bitches, like really?? this is why girls are self concious..who are u to say what beauty is?? its what the media tells you is pretty right? NO just because a girl isnt size 1 and doesnt have dd boobs doesnt mean shes ugly. Im 18 years old and have been told im pretty many times and have been asked to model many times, i have a good body (im not a size 0 at age 18... im actually healthy) and i still have had low self esteem problems because of what the media portrays as beauty.. or even, what men portray as beauty. Im so sick of what "beauty" means to people... just because you dont look like a playboy model, victorias secret model, or vogue model... your beautiful!!! ALOT more beautiful then people with fake boobs and nose jobs because they are FAKE and no one should be someone their not. Be yourself, and you are beautiful :)

It is not only the media and designers that have brought this sad situation about, it is also the general public. To me there is little difference between skinny girls who aren't looking after their bodies and denying their health and those at the other end of the scale who are obese, neither really cares for themselves nor posesses personal pride. Bring back the days of Marilyn Munroes and the like where a womens figure was allowed to be full (but not fat) and curvaceous and maybe there will be a change in public attititude. This is the responsibility of the designers, they initiate the market trends for the masses (lets be fair no-one with any decorum wears some of the freak stuff from the catwalk in real life) and they too can sway the "way" women look and what is acceptable, maybe its just a power thing to be able to make someone want to starve themselves to death just to get a job modelling....very sad !!!!

i think these two girls may have been ralistic and nice girls, i dont say the music is the blame, even though all typs of music may change how you feel, but id very much doubt it made these two young ladies commit suicide, the media takes one too many steps and over exagerates things. i just think that these girls ha something either happen too them and it just got to hard to handle or something like that. but id doubt its the musics fault... if it was im pretty sure i, as well as many other teenagers may have been in this situation to right?????
