Children Get Fewer Gene Mutations From Parents Than Thought


The new genetic study that analyzed the genome of the entire family revealed that children inherit 30 genetic mutations on average. Previously, it was thought that parents pass about 75 genetic mutations to their children.
Scientists claim that most mutations are not harmful to health, but it is important to know the rate of gene mutations in each family.
