Wii Games Speed Up Recovery in Stroke Patients

The well-known Nintendo Wii games can soon be used not only for fun, but as a part of rehabilitation program.

The recent research reveals that Wii™ games can help people, who had a stroke, better recover and restore their motor functions.

During the study twenty participants had a two week program that included Wii™ games or other recreational games. The study showed considerable improvements in speed and grip strength in stroke patients, which proves its effectiveness and safety.
