1923 Leica 0-Serie Camera Sold at Auction for $2.8 Million


It is know that cameras from Leica are very expensive, but the most expensive of them all is the vintage Leica 0-Serie camera created back in 1923.

Recently the camera has been sold at the WestLicht Photographica auction that took place in Vienna on Saturday. The device was valued at $2,790,000.

The camera has authentic paintwork, matching lens cover and a replacement Galilean finder.

It is worth mentioning that only 25 pieces of 25 Leica-0 Serie cameras were made.
