App that Shows 3D Visualization of the Internet

You might have seen images of how the Internet looks like, so there's nothing new in that. But all of those images where a 2D representation of the Internet.

The PEER 1's application allows you to see a 3D map of the Internet. It also illustrates all of its autonomous systems around the globe (and their connections).

The thing that makes the application even more exciting is its timeline feature, which makes it possible for users to see the Internet before, during and after the appearance of such Internet giants like Google and Facebook.

With the help of an algorithm, the app can even illustrate a model of what the Internet will most likely look like in 2020.

In addition, the application allows you to mark out the path between connections, for example between your Internet Service Provider and your alma mater's website.
