Cloud - Interactive Installation Composed of Over 6,000 Bulbs

Share

This beautiful art installation was created using more than 1,000 working lights and around 5,000 burnt-out bulbs.

The interactive construction turns on and off the lights each time a person pulls the chains. Thus the luminous cloud alters its intensity and the whole work resembles a cloud that can range from dark to thundercloud.

Caitlind r.c. Brown is the author of the project entitled "Cloud." The work was developed for the Nuit Blanche Calgary in Alberta, Canada.

In the video below you can see the expressions on people's faces who decided to play with the installation.
