Childless Couple Creates Aimec Robot Child that Laughs and Talks About Everything

A couple from Crowborough, East Sussex managed to create a robot child that can entertain almost like a real child.

They childless couple called their 4-foot robot Aimec (Artificially Intelligent Mechanical Electronic Companion 3). The couple programmed their creation to laugh and tell different jokes.

In addition, the robot was programmed to snore during sleep and wake up with a stretch.

Besides playing the role of a child, the robot can also be connected to the Internet, thus being able to search for things it does not understand. After collecting some information online, Aimec can talk on various topics.

The couple can connect their robot child to household appliances, so it could turn on the TV, dim the lights and more.

It is worth mentioning that both Judie and Tony run a toy company called Conceptioneering. The two have been working in the field of robotic for 30 years, managing to come up with dozens of mechanical and digital toys, reports DailyMail.

Judie hopes that with a little improvement, the Aimec can become the world's first affordable and useful home robot. The robot will hit the market in a few of years.
