E-Books That Use Augmented Reality Tech

Share

Researchers from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology are working on an e-book that would make use of augmented reality technology.

The Digilog technology would make it possible for readers to view content in 3D. To be able to watch the 3D content, people will have to put on special computer-screen goggles, informs Designboom.

At one of the local channels, the researchers presented two books developed for the new technology, featuring Korean folk tales. The books included roaring dragons, heroes flying over mountains and more.
