Czech Electric Scooter Sets New World Record Crossing 1,136km in 24 Hours

A firm from Czech Republic decided to work together with an electricity generation conglomerate in order to manufacture a new electric scooter.

Akumoto (the Czech firm) and ČEZ (the corporation) were able to build an eco-friendly scooter that managed to cross 1,136.3 kilometers (706.1 miles) in 24 hours, thus setting a new world record in its category.

According to the calculations made by the two firms, the trip of their electric scooter wasted only 40.8 kWh of electricity and its cost was just 190 Czech Korunas ($10.35).
