Ferrari World - the Largest Indoor Theme Park in the World

Share

Later this year Abu Dhabi will witness the opening of the Ferrari World, a huge theme park where visitors will have the possibility to ride a monster Ferrari GT Rollercoaster. The main thing about the roller coaster is that it resembles a race track where people will ride Ferrari cars running side-by-side.

During the two-kilometer journey, "passengers" will ride the cars at a speed of about 95km/h. In addition, due to the fact that two Ferrari cars will run side-by-side, people will get the feeling of being on a real racetrack.

The theme park will include two roller coasters with the second one expected to be the fastest in the world, with cars reaching a top speed of over 200km/h, which would definitely give riders a taste of what it's like to ride a Formula One racing car, informs Gizmag.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is currently being built on Yas Island on the North East side of the city. According to the designers and engineers, the Ferrari World is going to be the largest indoor park on the planet, featuring 45 meters (147.6 feet) high, 200,000 square meters red roof which will also include the world's biggest Ferrari logo, measuring 65 meters by 48.5 meters.

Youngsters will have the possibility to visit a driving and racing school and get a "Flume ride" through a huge Ferrari engine.
