German Developer Design Stunning Tablet PC Concept for Professionals

Share

This can truly be a revolutionary tablet PC. The m • pad was designed by Volker Hubner, a German developer who wanted to make a tablet PC suitable for professional designers and developers.

It would be interesting to note that the device combines the attributes of intuitive multitouch capability and a pressure sensitive stylus.

In addition, this tablet PC has a 15.6-inch OLED display and 9 fixed buttons. The latter make the tablet recognizable among other devices from the same category. These buttons are located in one end of the front panel. Such positioning of the buttons allows the user to easily use them with their left hand while the right hand uses the touchscreen.

The buttons were included so the user could easily use such functions as Alt, Ctrl, Escape, Space, Shift, etc. At the same time, 2 of those keys perform with e-link display. This means that the user can assign up to 24 short-cuts on the software running on the tablet.

Apart from other tablet PCs, this concept uses all popular inputs. Besides, it boasts USB ports, Ethernet, firewire and special docks that can be used to connect external keyboards and mice to the device, reports YankoDesign.
