Giant Smartphone-Controlled Robot Outfitted With Kinect Sensor Technology

Recently humanity made another step towards the era in which we all have remote-controlled giant machines. This became possible thanks to a team of engineers from Japan, who simply wanted to bring to reality an anime fantasy.

The team that calls itself Suidobashi Heavy Industry managed to come up with a robot that is 12 feet, 5-inch tall, weights 5 tons and is named Vaudeville.

The robot is equipped with Microsoft Kinect sensor technology and can be controlled with the help of a smartphone.

Currently the mechanism is in the development stage and the team plans to do a number of improvements in it.

In the near future, the developers also plan to launch the robot onto the market.
