HTC Unveils Its First Quad-Core Smartphone called HTC One X


The famous Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has recently announced about the launch of its first quad-core handset called HTC One X.

It is worth mentioning that the presentation took place in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2012.

Having a 4.3-inch 1,280 x 720 HD screen, the HTC One X is also equipped with a NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor.

In addition, the device boasts 1GB of RAM and two cameras: an 8-megapixel one at the back of the device and a 1.3-megapixel forward-facing camera.

In addition, the smartphone is able to take high-resolution photographs and shoot 1080p video. The latter can be edited right on the handset.

Like the other models from HTC, One X has built-in Beats Audio that allows the phone to show sound quality that is better than its counterparts.

The handset runs Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), and provides 25GB of free DropBox storage that replaces expandable memory.

According to some rumors the HTC One X is going to be released on April 5 2012 and wear a price tag of $650.
