James Cameron's Avatar Comes in 4D

Now Avatar can be watched in 4D, however, it would be worth mentioning that currently the 4D version is playing in only one theatre that is owned by CJ-CGV, a chain of multiplex cinemas in South Korea.

The 4D version of James Cameron's epic movie features over 30 special effects that are used while a person watches the 3D version.

Some of the special effects include moving seats, smells of explosives, spraying water, laser lights and wind generated by special fans, informs Variety.

Currently it is the only movie in the world to offer such service. The price one will have to pay to watch Avatar in 4D is $15.80.

The icing on the cake when you go and see films as good as Avatar. If anyones going to lead this idea into the new generation of cinema there's no better man suited for the job.

This idea has been floating around for ages in relation to computer games and has even been partially implemented by PHILIPS so i'm glad to see the go ahead where it can really make a solid impact, cinema.
