Latest Invention: 110-inch Ultra-HD LED TV with Facial Recognition and Gesture Control Tech


The Chinese firm Hisense at recently presented at the CES 2013 its new line of Ultra-LED (aka U-LED) XT900 televisions.

The TVs will be available in 65-, 84-, and 110-inch sizes. The brand new line features a mind-blowing 3,840 x 2,160 pixel resolution and 120 Hz panels that make it possible for the user to watch 3D pictures.

In addition, the U-LED screen includes local dimming technology to bring a more dynamic contrast ratio.

New televisions from Hisense also boast Wi-Fi capability and a detachable USB camera. These technologies allow users to get their hands on different Smart TV applications, including Skype. Besides, the camera boasts facial recognition and gesture controls.
