Latest Invention: Descender - Off-Road Skateboard from Rockboard

Those who wish to skate down grassy gradients will surely like the latest invention from the hybrid scooter developer Rockboard.

The company will soon launch onto the market its all-terrain skateboard that wears the name Descender. The skateboard has tank-like treads that replaced the traditional wheels.

Although this board won't offer high speed and a lot of adrenalin, it will still be a lot of fun riding it down the hill.

Currently there's little information about the device - it measures 31 x 10 x 5 inches (787.4 x 254 x 127 mm) and can take riders weighing up to 200 pounds (90.7 kg).

Under the deck you will be able to discover 4 heavy-duty triple-wheel sets with a total of 36 wheels. Around each set a rubber tread is attached, thus a good traction is offered.

It is worth mentioning that the Descender was unveiled at February's Toy Fair that took place in New York. There it was named "Best in Play" by Parenting Magazine. As soon as it is launched, the company will start shipping replacement parts for it.
