Latest Invention: EADS 3D Printer that Creates Light, Stronger than Steel Things

Engineers from the European Aeronautic Defence and Space company (EADS), a R&D firm that focuses on alternative power sources and advanced communications, decided to come up with a way of helping a customer turn into an original manufacturer.
The latest concept design by EADS is called ALM 3D printer (the abbreviation stands for Additive Layer Manufacturing). The device will make use of the next-gen nylon to create different things.
The 3D printer will be hazardous-free and allow the user to create various designs with just a few clicks.

It is worth mentioning that the created designs could be customized and changed further according to the user's requirements.
Here's how the device works: it takes the nylon-based material and fusions it with laser melted material in order to create ultra strong and light products.
Robin Southwell, CEO at the European Aeronautic Defence and Space company showed how the 3D printed can be used to create a stronger than steel bicycle, reports bikemagic.
