Latest Invention: Foldable Vertical Bed Allows You to Take a Nap in Vertical Position

Dubbed the Vertical Bed, the device was invented by Jamie O'Shea. It allows the user to sleep in vertical position. The reason why the author decided to come up with it and where it can be used was not yet clearly stated.

It may not be more comfortable than a real bed, but still the device can help a person fall asleep vertically by supporting their body weight using subway ventilation grate to which the device can be attached.

Another interesting thing about this invention is that it can easily fold up into a briefcase, which allows one to carry the vertical bed anywhere.

Along with the bed the buyer gets a number of other things, including noise-cancelling headphones, opaque sunglasses, and free standing umbrella.

In order to prove that his invention really works, O'Shea carried out a test on Broadway and 33rd Street in New York. He took a nap there 40 minutes and then repeated the test a couple of times with 4-hour intervals. So far there's no information on whether the Vertical Bed will hit the market.
