Latest Invention: Honda Miimo - Autonomous Intelligent Robotic Lawn Mower

In case you want to have a beautiful lawn all year round without having to waste your time mowing it than the latest innovation from Honda is for you. The tech company has recently presented its Honda Miimo robotic lawn mower.
The device is self-charging and is regularly monitors the levels of its built-in lithium-ion battery. Whenever the battery is about to run out of power the lawn mower automatically returns to its docking station to fill up.
It is worth mentioning that the device cuts little and often, cutting only 2-3mm of grass at a time. Due to the fact that Honda Miimo cuts in a random pattern, less stress it put on the grass, which ensures a healthy growth and less weeds.
Another interesting feature is that the lawn mower cuts the grass is pieces that are so small they are dispersed into the lawn root system. They are then decomposed fast to play the role of a natural fertilizer.
Because it makes use of a smart combination of controls, timers and real-time sensory feedback, the device always knows where the grass needs to be mown. The robot functions within a boundary wire, which can be traced under the ground or in the grass around the garden.
The company plans to launch two versions of the robotic lawn mower - 300 and 500 (the numbers refer of the maximum perimeter cut of 300 meters or 500 meters).
It would be interesting to note that Honda Miimo 500 will be able to mow an area of up to 3,000 square meters.
