Latest Invention: Life Microscope Concept from Hitachi

The latest invention from Hitachi - Life Microscope Concept - was displayed in Tokyo and marked the company's 100th birthday.

Although its form reminds a pedometer, the main difference lies in the fact that this concept has been also used in a number of real prototype timepieces.

Thus, when the user wears the device on their wrist, it records every single movement that is made.

After the information is gathered, it is transmitted to a software program developed exclusively for the Life Microscope, informs GizmoWatch.

Besides showing the user's walking and resting time, the device also differentiates between activities. This allows the user to differentiate between his or her sleeping time, sitting on chair time and playing video game time.
