Latest Invention: LumaHelm - Interactive LED Helmet for Safe Bike Riding


A team of designers at Exertion Games Lab decided to come up with a very original and useful invention called LumaHelm.
The team at RMIT University in Australia invented a helmet that not only provides safety during bike riding or skateboarding, but it also communicates with people with the help of light signals.
The helmet is equipped with 104 LEDs and can be controlled using an Arduino Uno microcontroller.
Probably the most useful application of the LumaHelm would be using it as to show turn signals while riding a bike.
However, the inventors also hope to use the helmet as a compliment to musical performances.
