Latest Invention: Robot that Accurately Decorates Easter Eggs

Share

A robot called Egg-Bot was created to decorate Easter eggs. Developed by Evil Mad Science LLC, a family-owned business with headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, the open source art machine can draw anything on spherical objects that have between 1.25 to 4.25 inches in diameter.

Besides, the robot is so sensitive that it can draw on delicate things like eggs or wine glasses.

Due to the fact that the software is open source, users are free to draw various images, including photographs on eggs. They can also use designs imported from other programs.

The Egg-Bot's website also says that one can control the device from many other programs that can transmit serial commands through a USB port.

The robot wears a price tag of $195.
