Latest Invention: Sanwa 3D Viewer that Allows Watching YouTube Videos in 3D on iPhone

The Japanese company Sanwa recently has come up with a device that offers an inexpensive device that allows watches YouTube content in 3D on your iPhone.

The gadget transmits the left/right pictures from 3D clips in the side-by-side format (yt3D) to the appropriate eyeball.

The device measures 140 x 90 x 75 mm (W x D x H - 5.5 x 3.5 x 2.9 in) and its weight is around 127 grams (4.5 oz) without iPhone.

It would be interesting to note that the 3D viewer from Sanwa features a slot suitable for both iPhone 4 and 4S.

There's a hole in the underside of the 3D viewer's body that makes it possible for users to slip their fingers through in order to reach the handset's touchscreen and thus control the volume and playback.

Due to the small viewing distance, 3D content will look much larger than the iPhone's small screen shows.
