Latest Invention: Street Tweeter - Machine that Paints Your Tweets in City Streets

Twitter, as one of the most popular social networks, has been praised and criticized multiple times.

By taking advantage of Twitter, the advocacy group, called One, decided to develop a giant ink-jet printer on wheel to print some tweets on city streets. Messages in tweets are not select randomly. The idea is to involve people in active discussions about the problems of poverty, global hunger and more.

Dubbed Street Tweeter, the machine resembles a mix of a street sweeper and a Zamboni. At a speed of 5mph it is able to print out messages that are up to 40 characters long. The messages are printed on the pavement with water soluble paint.

But the developers did not stop there - people who want to express their opinion on various issues are free to send a 40 character message to @OneStreetTweet and it could appear on one of the roads in Washington DC. You can also visit the campaign's website and leave your message there.
