Latest Invention: Theme Park Attraction Composed of 156 LCD Monitors

Sharp decided to offer 156 LCD monitors and a transmission system for a project called 5D Miracle Tour (the 5D stands for Dream, Dramatic, Discover, Different and Delight).

The new system will show an underwater love story on a 200 to 300-inch video that visitors can see in front, below, above and on each side.

The system mounted at the Thriller Fantasy Museum area of the Huis Ten Bosch park located in Nagasaki, Japan is composed of 36 ultra-slim Sharp PN-V601 60-inch LCD monitors that were mounted at the front, top and bottom, and 24 monitors on each side. In addition, the invention includes an image transmission system that ensures the images on all monitors move in sync.

It would be interesting to note that the 5D Miracle Tour can house up to 32 people at a time. On April 29th visitors were able to watch an 8 minute show based on a mermaid legend, reports Gizmag.
