Share

Those who enjoy singing in the shower will be pleasantly surprised to find out that Vivian Blick, MD at and the owner of Tango Group has developed a shower radio, which, besides being waterproof also does not require batteries.

The new device is called H2O and it's basically a shower-powered radio. Its most impressive feature is that it can charge using "hydroelectricity", a clean energy source.

The radio is installed in-between a shower hose and water supply. Thus, each time the user turns the on shower, the micro-turbines inside the device use the power of water to generate energy for the generator

It is worth mentioning that this latest invention proved to be very successful in Africa, where most people lack batteries and traditional radio is luxury, reports BBC.
