Lotus Evora 414E - Hybrid Supercar Unveiled in Geneva

Lotus is among the 250 companies that presented their latest innovations in car-making at the Geneva 2010 Auto Show. At the expo the company unveiled its hybrid supercar entitled Evora 414E.

The green vehicle has two electric motors that push the car from 0 to 60mph in just 4 seconds.

In addition, Evora has a 35kW 1.2 liter petrol engine that produces power for the battery pack. The electricity is stored in a 17 kilowatt hour battery which makes it possible for the vehicle to travel 35 miles on electric mode alone.
