Luxury Superyacht Controlled Using the iPad

After becoming one of the most popular gadgets of 2010, the iPad was used for numerous purposes, offering various more or less useful applications.

Now the iPad can be used to control a yacht. One can control the 60-meter Lurssen superyacht, called Solemates and available for $600,000 per week, with the help of their iPad.

There's a customized application that allows a person to control the whole superyacht using Apple's iPad. The latter can be used for example to control the entertainment systems, blinds, lights and climate systems.

Even if you do not own an iPad, the Solemates' captain will offer one for each of the guests, reports James Spotting.
