NASA and Lockheed Martin Design Supersonic Eco-Friendly Aircraft

If you like this invention you can vote for it here.NASA teamed up with Lockheed Martin Corporation to design an eco-friendly aircraft of the future, called Supersonic Green Machine.

Currently there's very little information on the aircraft, but it is possible that the Supersonic Green Machine will significantly push forward the air transportation industry.

The new-generation aircraft will feature an inverted-V design, which would considerably increase energy efficiency and reduce noise pollution generated by a sonic boom, informs NASA.

If the project will be successfully accomplished, the aircraft could make commercial supersonic air travel a reality.

It is worth mentioning that the Supersonic Green Machine is one of the designs offered this April to the NASA Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate for its NASA Research Announcement-funded researches into advanced aircraft which could be launched in the period between 2030 and 2035.
