New Bugatti-Inspired Wristwatch

Bugatti test driver Pierre-Henri Raphanel, driving at a top speed of 431 km/h at the wheel of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport, wears on his wrist the new Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Super Sport watch.

The Bugatti car, having established a world land speed record for production sports cars this June and entered the Guinness Book of Records, inspired the unique wristwatch that provides the lateral time display. It allows car drivers instantly read the time without moving one’s wrist.

The heart of the timepiece is a manually-wound movement – the Calibre Parmigiani 372. It provides a power reserve of 10 days.

The 18K white gold construction of the wristwatch incorporates six sapphire crystals protecting 337 components of the timepiece. The display boasts the signature orange color associated with the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport.
