Printer Allows Users to Write Twitter and SMS Messages on Walls via Android Handset

The Cellular Wall Printer is the brainchild of Liat Segal from Sweet Tech Studio. The device can expose a user's SMS text message or Facebook status on real physical walls and other flat surfaces.

It would be interesting to note that the invention was inspired from old school pin printers. It makes digital messages with the help of seven markers. With the help of 7 individually controlled servo motors, the markers can move up and down, creating dots and dashes on a surface.

The user can connect their cell phone to the printer and thus be able to paint SMS and Twitter messages, Facebook statuses, GPS coordinates or any other information.

It is worth mentioning that the IOIO board plays the main role in connecting an Android device with the printer through an Android application.
