Robot Designed to Collect Garbage from Shopping Centers

This robot was designed with the goal of collecting garbage from shopping centers, as well as from streets and allocating it in one of its two disposals. The robot will be able to gather not only small garbage - by using its manipulators it will be able to handle big rubbish as well.

Its designer Olga Kalugina, an industrial design expert from Ekaterinburg, Russia, decided to include two web cameras along with a sensing length element that helps the robot analyze the territory and find the places where the garbage is.

As soon as the robot has collected the garbage, it dumps it inside its tank, which has two compartments - for small and big rubbish. Everything is automatic, including the disposal of rubbish and the recharging of the robot's accumulator.
