Samsung Mobile Display Creates Unbreakable AMOLED Screens

In two years the South Korean tech company Samsung Mobile Display looks forward to launch a new type of display with AMOLED plastic panel mounted on the universal board.

It is worth mentioning that Samsung decided to use a plastic panel in order to make the AMOLED display unbreakable.

The process of creating an unbreakable screen involves putting a thin film transistor on the plastic panel and using polyimide film instead on vinyl protection, reports SlashGear.

However, if the user drops the phone the glass will break. At the same time the touchscreen will remain intact.
