Smart Camera from DARPA - One Step Closer to Creating Intelligent Robots

The latest invention of engineers and researchers from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is called "The Mind's Eye," which represents a camera that boasts visual intelligence, being able to understand what is going on the battlefield, describe it and transmit the collected data to human controllers.

It is worth mentioning that DARPA is an agency that is part of the United States Department of Defense and that is responsible for the latest developments in the military field.

The latest invention of the agency is currently the closest step towards developing an intelligence gathering machine. DARPA hopes that one day its device will be able to replace human spies.

On April 20th, more information on the device will be unveiled, reports Wired.
