Soundmatters Launches foxLO Claimed to Be World's First Palm-Sized Hi-Fi Subwoofer

Share

Soundmatters, consumer electronics giant based in Reno, Nevada, has recently unveiled two of its latest products: portable foxLv2 Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth speakers.

According to the company the foxLO is the world's first palm-sized hi-fi subwoofer and it plugs right into the speaker's subwoofer output. However, the device will also function with other branded portable speakers. This is because it features a 3.5 mm full pass-through output.

The technology behind the gadget allows foxLO to generate 25 watts of bass. In addition, the minimalist industrial design has a knob that makes it possible to adjust the bass volume and a LED signifying power.

It is worth mentioning that you can use batteries to power the foxL speaker line, but you will need an outlet to power the foxLO.

The device measures 63 x 114 x 160 mm (2.5 x 4.5 x 6.3 in) and weighs 651 g (23 oz). It will be officially presented at CES 2012 and priced at $149.
