Share

A news report published in the Staten Island Advance, New York's third largest borough may soon attract more tourists with the world's largest Ferris wheel.

It seems like the New York City Economic Development Corporation (EDC) teamed up with "a company" in order to build a 600-foot (183-m) wheel to a location found near the Ferris terminal.

In case the information is accurate, the construction is going to overcome the Singapore Flyer, currently the tallest Ferris wheel on the planet, measuring 541 feet (165 meters).
