The World's Largest Touchscreen Made by Dutch Students

Share

A group of students from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands managed to transform a 3D theatre into the biggest touchscreen on the planet and named their invention Reality Touchscreen.

The touchscreen is able to display up to 100 inputs simultaneously. It features 6 optitrack cameras and 16 infrared lights.

It would be interesting to note that the Reality Touchscreen is 10 meters long, has a 135-degree curve and boasts a resolution of 4900x1700 pixels. It can be used for corporate presentations and large-scale gaming.

The Dutch students, however, developed the world's largest touchscreen to facilitate interactive teaching in classrooms.
