Ultra HD Plasma Display from Panasonic and NHK Measures 145 Inches

The popular tech company, Panasonic in collaboration with NHK managed to come up with an ultra-high-definition 145-inch display. The display boasts a resolution that's 16 times larger than 1080p resolution.

The screen of the device is almost the size of an average woman (according to the video). Currently the display represents only a prototype plasma device. It employs 34 million square pixels and is able to register a frame rate of 60fps.

In addition, due to the fact that it is plasma, you benefit from a clear image from any angle, plus it does not need backlit.

To be able to actually see the device you will have to visit NHK's Science & Technology Research Laboratories in Tokyo in the period between May 24th and May 27th.
