Umbrella With Drums Makes Walking in the Rain More Fun

This original umbrella, designed by Dong Min Park has drums mounted on it, being able to generate different sounds and keeping you cheered up during rainy days.

The umbrella has to meet a number of requirements to be able to emit different sounds. For the drum, hi-hat, crash and tom-tom a high-frequency drumstick play is necessary, making the range bigger. At the same time the bass along with the snare need a lower frequency to provide a smaller range of sound.

With the help of 5 wax cloth made shades, each featuring a different elasticity, the umbrella is able to meet the requirements, being able to produce various sounds when raindrops fall on it.
